This launch provides information about how the Turkish Rug originated, different characteristics reflected in various regions, the symbolism of rug patterns, and a comparison of rug making between the past and the present.   

Mustafa Acikel contributed to this project while filming in the Mediterranean region. This movie is made by the talented Turkish documentary maker Coskun Aral.
