Mustafa started to sell Christmas socks and souvenirs on the street in Ankara to make money with his brothers when he was ten. Carpet expert and Antique collector Sakir, Mustafa's father, decided to move Bodrum to start up a carpet business since he wants to show his collection globally. Hence, Bodrum was a dream holiday place where well known people used to visit from all over the world. Sakir, taught Mustafa how rug is embroidered, the quality, stitch techniques, the region and how to be a salesperson. After, they started to sell their collection on the street, near the Bodrum Port since they must make money to open a shop. They improved the business and rent a small place to show their rug collection. Day to day, business and their social network growth. After, Mustafa bought his own shop and started his own carpet business in Bodrum to support his family easily. He became friends with many well known names such as the founder of the Atlantic Records, Ahmet Ertegun, Mick Jagger, Pamela Anderson, David Rockefeller, Warren Buffett, Italian designer Valentino and more. Currently, Mustafa and his son Murat is exporting rugs globally and traveling to expand their knowledge about art and craft movement.
